2nd Quarterly Meet – 2025

The Chandigarh chapter of IRIA successfully held its second Quarterly meeting on 14th June 2025 at Govt. Medical college and hospital Sector 32 , Chandigarh.

The organizing committee comprised of the organizing Chairperson  Dr. Ravinder Kaur (Head of Department, GMCH), Dr Kushaljit S Sodhi (President), Dr. Ajay Gulati (Secretary) and Dr. Anmol Bhatia (Treasurer) of the local chapter. The theme of the meeting was “Musculoskeletal Imaging” and was attended by nearly 100 delegates.

The meeting was inaugurated by Dr. Ravinder Kaur (HOD GMCH),  Dr. Kushaljit Singh Sodhi (President), Dr. Ajay Gulati (Secretary), Dr. Anmol Bhatia (Treasurer), Dr. Paramjeet Singh (HOD ,PGIMER) and  Dr. N Khandelwal (Ex-HOD ,PGIMER).  

Dr. Ravinder Kaur welcomed all the members & briefed about the academic program. The meeting featured interesting case based teaching presentations by postgraduate students with great interactive discussion with the members. Dr. Abhishek Prasad (Fortis Mohali), Dr. Rahatdeep Singh Brar (HOD, HBCH & RC, New Chandigarh) and Dr. Madhurima Sharma (Associate Professor, PGIMER) delivered lectures on various aspects of Musculoskeletal imaging giving practical insights on challenges in daily practice which received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the participants.

Senior member of the chapter Dr. Raman Nijhawan was felicitated on this occasion for her outstanding contribution to radiology.

The meeting provided a platform for impactful discussions, fostering engaging dialogues & shaping the vision and mission of IRIA towards progress of Indian Radiology. Dr. Ajay Gulati, Secretary proposed the vote of thanks.
