3rd Quarterly Meet – 2025

Command Hospital, Chandimandir

The Chandigarh chapter of IRIA successfully held its Third Quarterly meeting on 27th Sep 2025 at Command Hospital, Chandimandir.

The organizing committee comprised of Dr Kushaljit S Sodhi (President), Dr. Ajay Gulati (Secretary) and Dr. Anmol Bhatia (Treasurer) of the local chapter and the Organizing Secretary Brig Col.Atul Mishra ( Head of Department of Radiodiagnosis, Command Hospital, Chandimandir). The theme of the meeting was “Recent Advances in Imaging ” and was attended by nearly 100 delegates.

The meeting was inaugurated by Dr. Sudha Suri(Ex-Dean and HOD PGIMER), Maj Gen Harkirat Singh (Commandant, Command Hospital), Dr. Kushaljit Singh Sodhi (President), Dr. Ajay Gulati (Secretary), Dr. Anmol Bhatia (Treasurer), Dr.Paramjeet Singh (HOD ,PGIMER)

Our heartfelt thanks  to Maj Gen Harkirat Singh (Commandant, Command Hospital) for gracing the meeting as Guest of honour.

Dr. Kushaljit S Sodhi welcomed all the members & briefed about the academic program. The meeting featured interesting case based teaching presentations by postgraduate students with great interactive discussion with the members. Dr. Anuj Prabhakar (PGIMER, Chandigarh), Dr.Sandhya Dhankar (Faith Diagnostic Centre Chandigarh) and Lt. Col Leelkanth K (Command Hospital) delivered informative lectures on Recent advances including Artificial intelligence giving practical insights on challenges in daily practice which received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the participants.

Senior member of the chapter Dr Suman Setia was felicitated on this occasion for his outstanding contribution to the local chapter.

The meeting provided a platform for impactful discussions, fostering engaging dialogues & shaping the vision and mission of IRIA towards progress of Indian Radiology.
